As i have been talking about for more than a week, old man winter has had a trick up it’s sleeve for a while for the end of this month and now it looks as it will all play out in #GA on Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Looks like the east coast storm i talked about the other day will develop in the gulf and move across south GA and north FL and then along the east coast. As it does so, it looks to spread moisture into GA. This, after another arctic surge of cold air plows back into the state late Monday sending temps back into the teens area wide.

Here’s what is “MOST” likely to happen…

A major winter storm will hit the southeast bringing everything from several inches of snow to a quarter inch of ice. This will bring severe driving conditions to the area. Trees and power lines will likely come down due to heavy ice. Prepare NOW in GA for a major WINTER STORM!!!

Here’s what “COULD” happen…

Looks as really all of GA could be under some sort of threat for snow. I think the heaviest will be in central GA, but moisture could spread as far north as metro #Atlanta, leaving us with a dusting. Already, the NWS has outlined areas just south of ATL into central GA for a light dusting of snow from this system. This is still a developing weather event and you should monitor this closely. Stay with us for further updates!
